Django Sissoko[1][A] (1948 – 4 April 2022)[2] was a Malian civil servant who was Prime Minister of Mali from December 2012 to September 2013. He was Minister of Justice from 1984 to 1988 and subsequently served twice as Secretary-General of the Presidency, from 1988 to 1991 and from 2008 to 2011. He also served as Ombudsman from 2011 to 2012.
Sissoko was appointed prime minister in the evening of 11 December 2012 shortly after the arrest of his predecessor, Cheick Modibo Diarra,[3] by the leaders of the March 2012 coup d'etat; Diarra had been forced to resign.
